Some may know him as “Bishop” others as an astute intellectual, a Pastor, Mentor and still others as a beloved Father, grandfather, a loyal friend and above all a gentle man.No matter the point of reference, there are few places you will travel on this side of heaven without hearing the name of Morgan Lombe.
Bishop Lombe was born number seventh to Mr. M.C Lombe and Sophie Lombe (both late)in a family of nine.He is the only surviving man among the two. Two of his sisters have also answered the lord call.

Married to one wife (Edith) and four Children, two boys and two girls, i.e. Morgan Lombe Jr, 19, Justina 16, Chibamba Seth 14 and Esther 6.
BISHOP AND MAMA LOMBE
Bishop Lombe started his life from humble beginnings and is a testimony to people who want to see the visible hand of God at work in their life.”If God can raise me from the ground, He can also raise the Church of God in Power”. Add to the skill of mediation, a strict rearing under Pentecostal tenets, and an enduring ministry, it should become increasingly clear why God called Bishop Lombe at a tender age. His experiences nurtured his unique call to the ministry of reconciliation and honed his distinct ability to transcend life’s struggles and traditions to the preaching of the Gospel, through widening spiritual parameters in order to reach diverse people of manifold backgrounds, cultures and denominations.
- During his college days.
He left employment in Government of The Republic of Zambia as a Vet. Officer in the Department of Agriculture in 1993 to begin to pursue God’s calling into ministry.
During his work in Government
He was ordained as a General Overseer of the Rose of Sharon Ministries in October 1999 in Kabwe, Zambia. Realizing that calling is one thing and equipping another, the Man went to full time Theological College and Studied at Bible Life Ministries under Dr. Enock Sitima in Gaborone, Botswana from 2003 to 2005.
Bishop Lombe continues to make an indelible mark in the world, violently reclaiming territory for the Kingdom through his philanthropy, and advocacy for social justice and peace. In 2005, He founded “Awakening Convention”,an annual meeting that seeks to reposition the body of Christ in Power ,authority and influence.Individuals,churches,Christian ministries and many organisations gather every year and testify about the impact these meetings have in their lives and society.
Currently,he is organising a pro-active movement for the promotion and sustainance of peace in Zambia called,”Peace initiative-Zambia”. The objective of this movement is to sensitize the people,begining at grassroots over the importance of peaceful co- existance and a culture of tolerence as a run up to the forth coming critical and decisive elections in Zambia.
